My book has arrived and I have flicked through it quickly. It really looks to be a cracker. Much reading to do, followed by the big decision over which project to tackle first and away I will go. My wife has kindly offered to go with me to the nearest model shop, in Fuengirola and buy me some bits and pieces, so I look forward to that little trip.
I must say a big thank you to you guys that have offered me plenty of advice and help. I no longer wonder "Which way to turn".
