Hello Bob, the Cervia or formost class of tug were 2ft shorter and 1ft wider than the birch class so it really depends on how exact you want to be, the other differences were the wheelbox shape, the funnel on the formost was eliptical, the engine room top was a different shape and the main casing was also a different shape as well, so if you are looking to be true to scale the upperworks with the kit are of no use BUT the hull and deck would be fine, so with a bit of artistic licence you make any steam tug out of it, have a go matey but make the Sun XVI or XVII they were the same class of tug as the Cervia but they were much brighter looking tugs than the old Cervia she was always the kitchen maid and not the princess, , also Sun tugs were ALWAYS cleaner looking tugs as when they were painted the last coat of paint was thined 50/50 paint and varnish, fussy lot of blighters they were always chiping and painting.
