hiya, I'm in the process of building a Sea Scout, 24in. Is it best to run off a lead acid cell? And what size motor?? Nothing too rapid but to make good progress??


I've also got a Flybridge yacht style boat which is 42in in length, 13in at its widest, what size motor shall I use??

Do a search in the sports boat section, plenty about sea scout in there.


I run a Graupner 7.2 volt speed 600 on a NIHM pack in my wavemaster 25, plenty fast enough without being mental.
