Southern model show, Headcorn - 2016
« on: September 04, 2016, 05:28:34 pm »

The guys from kent model boat display team trundled off down to headcorn yesterday morning to put up the tempory pool for this show and start filling it.
Made the mistake of just asking for the biggest plastic sheet they had and didn't take much notice of how big. Here are a couple of photos. thanks to kim belcher for using his laser eye to make sure the sides are straight.

it measures 32m by 12m should be fun

To everyone attending have a great weekend. I'm seriously impressed by the pool ...... I envy you all sailing on it.

I can't be there as I'm involved in the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival. We have everything from models to full size vessels completely filling the quayside and stalls of all descriptions along the full length of the quay.

Have a great weekend at the Headcorn ....... it won't be long before we can indulge in mega breakfasts at Leamington !!!!!
Martin is no doubt already ironing a LOUD shirt  %%

Cheers
Steve.

No training needed. It will be leaving and arriving at Platform One at various times of the day to allow the kids to have a go. O0  ok2

The event started life as a flying show, so I felt the need to look at some of the goings on at the flight line.
