speed controllers Digifleet to Futuba

Hi, i have 2 Digifleet speed controllers that are in perfect working order ,however since this company have ceased trading, i have now gone over to FUTABA rc...this means the conections..red and black leads are reversed..or different than digifleets ...i dont want to have to buy new speed controls too expensive, is there any way i can get around this..? :-\

Yes, swap the pins around, and file off the little 'niblets' on the connectors.

Easy and takes minutes.

ok thanks.......if i file off the little niblets on the connectors, wont that enable me to just turn the connector around so that black / red cables "match up" instead of having too take out the cables in the first place.....?

Dont think its as simple as that. Futaba is White Red Black, Fleet is White Black Red if I remember correctly.

Yes youre correct i forgot about there being a white lead...have never done this before , the digifleet connectors , very "TINY" holes, i think to get the leads out will have to use a small needle, not sure what the fitment is...i  notice the niblets on the digifleet connectors prevent you from accidently connecting them back to front [black to a red lead]..so i will have to take extra care not to make that mistake..think i will paint one side yellow . I Have 2 speed controls and 2 servos that i need to change over.
