I believe their lakeless at the moment , & they had to shift all their gear from the canal side, which will be shifted back for the boat show in March , they were negotiating for use of a lake/pool  in Hooton , I've heard nothing more .

In the meantime, you have New Brighton, and  Hoylake, both nice clubs, and in Ashton Park in West Kirby,  also there is a sailing lake in Birkenhead (Gautby Road) only 30 mins away from Chester.

Going the other way, There is a sailing club/lake in the Greenfield North Wales area, but every time I asked in the (now closed) Model shop it was a bit of a secret with never a direct answer!

I would be interested in info about Ellesmere Port, at one time wasn't there two clubs there, one sailing inside the museum grounds, in a very small area, and one the other side in Raddle Wharf, over by the hotel?
