Andy McCue - Scoonie Hobbies
« on: May 15, 2017, 12:21:05 pm »

I've just seen that another stalwart of the modeling hobby departs for the great model shop in the sky. A good friend and devotee of the wee dram.

Will be sadly missed at shows.

Very sad news..I didn't know the man personally, but I have dealt with Scoonie's on a few occassions, always found them to be very helpful at all times.

RIP, sir...

A real character and can truly be said to have been able to talk the hind leg off of a donkey. He will be missed by all who knew him. No more quick visits to the shop turning into two hours listening to Andy.

I was in Pittenweem for a week a few years back.
Visited the shop while in the area.
Swimbo had to come and rescue me!
RIP Andy.

He'll be enthusiastically telling tall tails in another place now.

We'll miss you Andy, RIP

it is always very sad to know a modeller has passed over the bar, but to loose someone who also supplied and gave so many so much service in the cause of model making is even sadder.

God bless him and his family at this sad time, and I hope that his legacy of Scoonie Model shop will live on for a long long time to come.

RIP  Andy McCue
