You have to admit it is a great looking model, and it would not have to be much bigger to be able to actually get inside and hava a birds eye view,

petes sub dose look lovely, and i hope to see it in action hopefully this year !,for those looking for a really "BIG" Seaview  model  ::)
,deboer Hulls have hinted at releasing a 5 foot , 8 window movie vertion as well revamping/retooling to release the 8 foot 4 window TV version .If demand is there it could well be released it  in 2007.Those intrested should add there vote to the survey request they are conducting, via  email  .Unfortunatly they are are not going to be cheap :'(,but as in most things "you get what you pay for !"

Hi All
I have a master plug of SEAVIEW that I intended to produce years ago. It's 5ft long and is modelled on the four window version. The sail can be vac formed and all the other bits and pieces were made just never moulded. The reason it never went any further was the risk of copy right. She would not take long to clean up. So if any of you out there are intrested in getting your hands on a Seaview at a more realistic price than the deboer, then give me a mail. If there is a good responce I will go a head and mould.
Regards Eric.

O.k Guys
I'LL dust off the plug take it to the fibreglasser and get a quote for a mould. When I have got this figure I will work out a price and let you know.

Hi Pete
Seaview looks fantastic. How does she perform? and are you just taking on water to dive as I cannot make out any forward control surfaces. Just the way it should be.

Hi Eric, the boat is running at its fully surfaced trim , having the model ballasted higher in the water as per the tv programme , well the boat just rolls over, the model has a small worlds gas wtc with twin motors, the model has a tendancy to stand on its nose as power is increased this is caused by the manta fins and hull form at the bow, a reduction in speed and full up on rear planes cure,s this , because of the triple rudder, the boat tends to lean in the turn, underwater this is a quick boat, there are forward planes marked on the manta fins but i havent used them , i tried to use the fairwater planes on the sail but again if your tearing along they work otherwise at  normal speed the effect is nominal,  ive added a couple of pics of the larger seaview currently waiting for its 3rd rebuild the de boer seaview has given me alot of pointers on how to improve the hull.   Pete

Hi Pete
Thanks for the info, :) however I cannot see the join on the sail vanes either. Is your model the deboer kit? Also can you confirm, is your model wearing what was known as the mask that is the raised
line that runs down between the front windows?? I have not put this feature on my plug because I never saw it on any of the episodes I have watched. Please do not take this as any criticism in any way shape or form but really as an inquisitive observation. This does not distract in any way what a fantastic model you have there. ;D
Regards Eric.
