leaving early tmrw morning for the 1st leg of the epic journey. heading for ellesmere port then into llanberis friday. anyone else staying at the campsite on the hill? and are we all just pitching up anywhere or going in the same field? want us to bring anything (apart from lots of supporters) around 15 peeps comming from our end just to support the event

Hi Not sure what you mean about control?? It is ruining on a 40 MHz radio set . All the origanal drive motors and RC unit are in the bin. It now has a 540 type motor M tronic SC oh and a rudder which it didn't have when i first got the boat. It started out as one of them cheap Maplin/Argus/ Cheap boats and it's been converted into something that now works. All the lights are LED's of one short or another.
It has a fair turn of speed & the battery duration is OK. I could do with some better battery's, but as i did it only for the night sail i didn't want to speed to much. When this weekend is all over I will take it down our club so any young folk who want to try out RC boating can use it.

ah thats ok, its practically the same as the graupner bat boat then, rather than all on or all off

There are a couple of chippys and a great place called petes eats, we go there after swimming the lake, thats my wife not me I'm Not daft, but I'm Sure Stavros will point you in the right direction

There is also a pizza/kebab/salad type place.
They are all on the main street.

No Mickey D, BK or KFC, and no Starbucks, thank God.
If you want/need these, go to Bangor, a 15 minute drive.

NO LITTER TAKE IT HOME PLEASE
NO GOING ON THE WASTE TIP
EVERYONE TO BE OUT OF THE VENUE BY 7PM PROMPT
NO ONE TO BE IN THE VENUE EXCEPT THE ORGANISERS AND SECURITY STAFF
IF ANYONE WHO IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE IS CAUGHT THERE AFTER 7PM EVENT CANCELLED IMMEDIATLY

Now these are what I have had to agree on the ball is in your court lads and lasses,the last rule believe you me is the most serious one,if we want to have the event here next year we have got to abide by their rules.
BUT as the Parc warden said they are cool with everything so lets keep them this way

Wow what can I say I am truly flabbergasted at the support for this event from not only Traders but other forums as well.It is not often you see old Stav stuck for words but after this and this weekend at Epic I am.
