Balne Moor Pond Layout
« on: April 28, 2018, 11:20:19 am »

This post is in response to Tiger Tiger's request to see more of the pond layout at Balne Moor,  I'm also testing my ability to post photos :-)) .

This year the harbours and buildings are at the end of the pond closest to the clubhouse.  Two reasons:
1. It's easier for people to watch from the viewpoint by the clubhouse.
2. It gives more room at the other end of the pond for faster boats to stretch their legs.

The buildings are of a simple construction and one photo shows the production line.  You can see a power station, after all there are three very close to us, the four sockets close to that are for an oil derrick currently being restored.
