So how rough does windy get then, the missus likes a bit of rough ;D

Nice boat Kurt, looks like they are going to have to run another heat just for your fleet!!

Dont you have to run those SIKK engines in before racing?

Regards

hi simon.engine has already been run in,its the one out of my cobra O0 i have rebuilt a new engine in the cobra and ran that in last week, apachee has new top end and will be running that in tomorrow, ;D ;D i hoping all i will have to do to the new boat is set it up.and that will be that, run the apachee in and then give it a good thrashing for 1/2 hour just to make sure everything is ok,and give the cobra another thrashing,i will be testing all day tomorrow come rain or shine 8) kurt

Hey Kurt, that's one fancy looking tank - where's it from and what's it made of (looks like ABS?).
You are destined for heartache if you take three boats!  You can GUARANTEE that 1 minute into mill time - you'll wish you'd used one of the other boats  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Still you can always try one of the others on Sunday  ;)

hi danny.tank is 2.2 litres, and is made for the boat, its a nice touch really.as for choice of boat, that will be decided on the day mate, ;) but i do realise it could all go "boobs" up :'( hopefully i will make the right decision ;D kurt

It's a real pity they have stuck the speed limit on Windermere, I had the fun of my first chase boat event there before the limit.
The biggest shock was the feel of the wind and spray - even just doing 30 mph!!  It was fabulous!  The course was about 4 miles and you couldn't see the bouy you were heading toward.  Eyes full of spray and a big cheesey grin - everyone was the same.
If you get chance next year, have a go at the Torbay race, that's another good one - not cheap mind, but worth every penny.

Re choosing the right boat - you'll just have to do what the rest of us do - have a average/cr*p day on Saturday and then say "s*d it" and go daft on Sunday (usually end up upside down - but good fun before that)  ;D ;D

Look forward to seeing them (not the fingers)  O0
