Twin Brushless motor connection
« on: August 30, 2018, 06:42:50 pm »

On a twin brushless motor model  with two batteries is it acceptable/common practice to connect the two Esc's with a Y lead to the receiver throttle conection?
I'm progressing with my Seaplane Tender build and have reached this point hence my question!

Quite acceptable and unless you want to use the motors for steering the simplest way to connect. However if the escs provide power to the receiver using a bec you need to disconnect the receiver power from one of the escs. The simplest way is to remove the red wire from the plug of one of the escs and tape it back over over the other wires. to keep it out of the way.
