Have been given a Firefighter rigger, which rather blasphemously has been converted to electric. Needless to say that didn't work so in my possession it's going back to petrol. Unfortunately in the conversion the deck was redone to suit and sprayed.


Question is, do we think it's 'Volkswagen Brilliant Orange' or something else?

Photos are notoriously bad at accurate colour reproduction, but my guess is that your colour isn't the standard lifeboat/VW orange.  It looks a little darker to me, but without knowing how the photo was taken (light levels etc), the only reliable way to tell would be to put it alongside a lifeboat.  Or a VW.
Others might have a different view of course!

Orange by it's sheer Nature is a right pig to get right as the shade depends entirely on the primer that's used underneath and also how many actual coats you have applied more you put on the deeper the shade becomes.....the less obviously the lighter it goes....horses for courses im afraid
