hi everyone. im relatively new to omra and i've never raced the bristol pairs before but im going sunday, could anyone please tell me the basic rules and what we have to do with regards ie is it tag team style etc? thanks

Best of luck - basic rules

Team total capacity 26cc (sparkies count as 15cc)
One hour race, clockwise course
80db noise limit

Important bits

Each boat MUST complete 40 laps
Heats start from DEAD ENGINE
One team member only RUNNING on the water (when boat becomes dead - other member can go straight on)

They're pretty basic rules

Tips

Get the least reliable boat on first and try to get the 40 laps
Have the 2nd boat ready to go so if boat 1 stops, you can go straight on with boat 2.

There are further tips but that would take the fun out of it!
