Himoto Stealth Enforcer problems
« on: July 22, 2020, 06:11:03 pm »

Good evening.
I have a problem with my Himoto Stealth Enforcer speed boat which im hoping somebody may be able to help with.
The boat has been running fine until the other day when it stopped running for some unknown reason.
If i turn my transmitter on and then the receiver in the boat i get a tiny twitch on tyne rudder which tells me there is a connection however it usually plays a start up tone but its not.
If i then turn the transmitter off the boat plays the start up tone to say the boat is connected but obviously cant do anything as the transmitter is off.
Does any one out there have any idea whats going on and how to fix.
All batteries are charges and newish
Thanks
Gren

Couple of things to try:
Has the Tx \ Rx lost the binding? The Rx should go to the condition stated in the manual if it is still bound. If not, try re binding.
If it is bound, disconnect the esc. Does the rudder servo operate ok? If no, problem with the Rx. If the rudder moves, unplug and plug rudder servo into esc channel. If rudder moves, problem with the esc.
If you can confirm both channels operate ok, try re calibrating the throttle and esc ie is the throttle full at neutral at first switch on etc?

It could be the motor is faulty. You'd have to try another esc to see if that is the case. If the motor runs with another esc then the original esc is likely faulty.

Thank you. I shall have a go with that and see what happens. I think the motor is fine as was running last week but all this has suddenly happened the next time of tried to use it.
Thanks
