What is the reason for the leading edge of a propeller to be so curved and the trailing edge almost straight. Just interested.

Hi Terry
My guess would be to reduce drag and turbulence at higher revs. Not all props are like that though. My plastic 2 bladed props are as you describe but my scale brass/bronze 3 bladed props are curved on both edges.
