Hi Spinney I sealed my top instrument panel by simply masking off the panel leaving the edges clear.Then I mixed some epoxy and applied it with a cocktail stick to the edge and smoothed it out with a very small screwdriver dipped in water.Finally paint to match your model.
 
Glad you decided to use Action switches for me they are the best.

I've felt like I've been moving backwards lately as I have returned to the parts I've not been happy with and started over.  Finally I'm at the stage where I can move forward again.


First picture, the Mk 2 electrics board.  I'm still using the Action Electronics 4 way switch installed under the cabin roof but have also added the two remote controlled relays to channels 5 & 6.  The nav lights and the cabin lights can therefore be switched on and off with two spare transmitter switches.  Everything else is switched with the 4 way.


Second picture, the Mk 3 sofa.  Slight flaw where the PVC isn't quite bonded to the backrest but there definitely won't be a Mk 4

Picture showing the underside of the topsides.  The 15way connector fits into the socket in the electrics panel and carries all signals and power to the Action switch and various LED's.

A few pictures of the interior before the final touches (charts and magazines spread about) and the cabin sides and windscreen go on.  Still haven't decided whether these will be permanently fixed or held on magnetically but permanent for the extra strength is my guess right now.
