I just ended up with 300 model boat plans, some on PDF and others on paper.
Some of the paper plans are going take a some time as the paper is very old and has been folded for years.
E.G. Original Aerokits plans !!!

Started on a database which is my winter project !!!
106 on the database so far.

300 plans, wow, that going to be some list Harry.
Well done though.

Hi Ewe GuysI have added to my small fleet a Billings Nordkap, ProBoat 40" PT109 and got back my Sea Commander(Sparky). But, Sparky is in very poor health and has been to the strippers( no knot those ones) !!!Hull repainted and adding a planking deck. The cabin floor has had the same upgrade with wood panel doors.Another poor posting on E Bay(NO OVERSEA POSTING) so no Nor-Star wave Crest.Checking out a Nor-Star Wave Princess, but it's in very poor condition.

Sorry about the delay!

My delay has been much longer than yours Tony.

My javelin has still not been on the water (!) - despite being painted bright red all those months ago.

No excuses - just working on too many boats at the same time - I need to focus more (on less of them !) until they each reach completion and are working !

The last time I looked at my Javelin in the workshop, I remember knocking-up a “flying bridge” for it as I wanted it to look just a little bit different to all the other Javelins that must be still out there (unlike the Rapier, LesRo sold a lot of Javelin kits).

After a quick rummage I found this “structure” and still think it would look good, but I am not too sure exactly where to position it on the boat.

The photos that inspired me to add this “flying wing” to my Javelin show various (full size) fast off-shore boats with them mounted in a variety of positions from above the cockpit all the way back to the end of the boat.

I think these structures carry aerials and searchlights etc rather than serving any aerodynamic purpose so I guess the positioning of them is not too critical (?), so I am thinking about bolting mine to the outside of the “cabin” sides just behind (or towards the back ) of the cockpit.

I will see how the mood takes me when I get home and have the power drill in my hand (!) but I think I will fit it and see if I can live with it once it is fitted.

My main fear is that a “well wishing” passer by may attempt to lift the boat using the bridge as a “carry handle” so I will make it strong enough to survive this (just in case) but hope it never happens!
