Hi folks I've recently returned to a model after a 5 year break . The model had been shelved due to more important commitments. I uncovered it after a lockdown clearance and have started working on it . I forgot how enjoyable it was and have redone all the mechanics and fitted lights .Hopefully it will be launched within the next couple of weeks. I have tried to upload photos but it keeps telling me my file is to large when I take a photo from my iCloud Photo Library. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the file size thanks Alan

A very quick google pointed out the iStore, where there was a whole bunch of photo resize apps. Not having an iPhone or iPad, I can't comment on how well any of them might work.

Thanks for that I've tried downsizing them to an email then copying them across but it didn't work. I'll try using one of the apps cheers Alan

It was a scratch built model cica late 60s of a 52 ft daglass motor yacht. I purchased it years ago on eBay as a project needing complete renovation. The plans can still be bought online it's called cynette .

Thanks when I first started renovating it I was given a lot of help on this forum finding the matching windows for the hull. Unfortunately due to circumstance it was shelved for 5 years and almost forgotten. Finishing it has rekindled an interest and I have paid a couple of visits to a local club ,Ayr Model Boat Club in Scotland. My 82 year old father was given updates through WhatsApp and also has pulled an unfinished billings model from his loft. The Ayr regatta is coming up in September so I think we are both going to that . I'm just about to start a puffer which was knocked off a shelf so that should keep me busy. I've tried posting the photos for some weeks now and for some reason tonight they posted without any problems.
