New RAF Boat Book
« on: March 29, 2021, 09:46:58 pm »

I’ll point out that I have no connections to the publisher or author but for those interested in post war ‘Tin Boats’ of the Spitfire and Seal classes this is a must. I ordered my copy on Saturday and arrived this morning directly from the author but you can get a copy directly from Lightmoor Press. https://lightmoor.co.uk/new.php
These are perhaps the most underrepresented vessels to be written about being overshadowed by the fast HSLs of WW2 but they are still in service today just not by the RAF.
An excellent source of photos and plans with some really helpful information on various equipment used by these
crews.

Looks interesting, 19.99£ is properly a fair price, but then a shipping cost of 13£ to EU and on top of that the DK VAT and customs handling charge =  total cost delivered to DK 59.75£   >>:-( (Not blaming the web shop as these costs is out of their hands)
