BLACK PARK MODEL BOAT CLUB OPEN DAY AND REGATTA

Annual open day and regatta held at Black Park country park   near IVER HEATH and SLOUGH on the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire Borders

 large open lake with good access,  toilets and Cafe and facilities for the disabled- childrens play area and acres of woodland to explore.... come and make a day of it !

show is from 10am to 5pm.    sunday 7th sept.

marine models of all types welcome, but due to local byelaws no internal combustion models may be run on the lake.

models on the water will include sailing models, steam powered models, subs, tugs, fast electrics, hopefully some hovercraft,  scale sail, merchentmen, lifeboats, novelties.....

car parking is pay and display at £2 a day

Hope you all have a good day, the weather forecast is not very special for the weekend, but at least Sunday is meant to be the best day.
I certainly hope so as I want to get my awning packed away dry after the show I am doing in Sussex.

thanks alan,

 no matter what i tihnk we'll all enjoy it as usual, all proceeds to the deep sea fishermans mission,

got some great prizes for the raffle too- ( hunderds of quids worth ) so hopefully we'll raise some funds for a worthy cause

got some visiting clubs cloming to share the water and the tea urn will be on from early morning... it'll be fine !

 i also even got on with some work on the  lochin 33 - so its all positve !!!

just a quick post to say thanks to all those who supported the regatta this weekend, - yes the weather was not as kind as it could have been but those who attended appeared to have a good time !

we had over 70 models on display- most took to the water,  and we raised several nundred quid for the seamans mission, so a good day all round,

many thanks to the luton  club who supported  us too, hope you had a good time , and thanks once again.
