Occre Ulises paint question
« on: October 22, 2021, 07:54:12 pm »

Just got the kit😀 it is my second ship model so I’ve a lot to learn.

There are a lot of white metal parts to paint and I will probably use an airbrush on a lot of them. There’s no mention of occre paints requiring primer if painting on metal.

Any advice on whether I prime or not.

Thanks in advance

I've never come across a paint that didn't benefit from primer, even if it claimed to be a single application type.
It is usually a good bet that if it doesn't say it doesn't need primer, it does.

Tx :) I guess I've nothing to lose and something to gain if I do prime :)

Maybe he did mean that, but I quite like the idea of 'toughly cleaning' - it would get probably the same result (unless you were just too damn tough!)  :-))
