Storage voltage for Lipo

I have gone almost completely to Lipo batteries now and storage charge them when noit in use.  It's a pain but I can deal with it.   However some of my batteries are 5000mA and my chargers, of which i have several, only allow me to discharge at a max of 1 A which means that the charger keeps "timing" out.  Pain in the B*m.I don't really want to spend megabucks on a discharger when I already have several, albeit very slow.
Any ideas gratefully received.Thanks.

Have you checked if there is an adjustable setting for your chargers 'time out' function? I know my Overlander RC6-VSR has that capability. Worth a look.

Thanks for your reply.  Really didn't know you could override the settings like that.  Followed the instructions and solved the problem :}
