Williamson engine.
« on: November 18, 2022, 07:49:02 am »

Good morning !
Once again, I need help from you ! O0
I have an incomplete set of casting to build the "Williamson Engine -Tubal Cain" from Stuart.
First , I am looking for its the drawing . If someone could help me out again, I would appreciate.
Also , if by any chance someone knows where to get the basement and the plinth  at a decent price, it will help me not to buy to Stuart who very expensive. Above all the shipment and taxes . My last option will be to order to them .
Hoping that , as usual one get me out of the rut ! ok2
Thanks again.
Regards.

Hi Yves,
I have done a search of all of my Stuart drawings but unfortunately I do not have a Williamson drawing.
It would appear that you will have to bight the Bullet and buy from Stuart Turner, look on their web sight under spare parts and it will possibly make your eyes water at the price.

The drawings are also available

Remember that all prices need to have 20% VAT added
Best wishes
George

Good evening Gentlemen !
Thanks for your prompt answers !
To answer to George first , I agree with you that Stuart is a bit greedy on prices.
Below is the cost for shipping the drawing (ex VAT) , but I have to add the VAT in France and the paper work charges. Paperwork in France costs an arm !
Looking at the paper work I ask myself questions without any possible answer.
Let's make it short.

Thanks for the info, Heslop ! I think that you have the right answer. Concerning this booklet; I have it ! It looks pretty complete though ! Do you think that it is complet enough to built the Williamson.I thgaink so, but I need to be sure. In any case, if I am stuck during the work, I can stand by a bit .
That would save me a lot of money. :-)

At the end and to stick to Stuart original , I shall have to buy the base and entablature only . I shall wait for a while to see if any has this parts to sell.

Thanks for all , Messieurs ! I appreciate.
Best regards.
