water level sensor?
« on: November 23, 2022, 02:53:00 am »

Hi guys,

is there a small device available that i can fit inside the hull of my tid that will detect water that would trigger some kind of alarm (sound or flashing light etc) ?

Just thinking ahead!

cheers

Homebrew simple sensor - uses two wire probes placed in area that you want to "sense" for water. You could use the same solution to monitor multiple areas

We used to make a lot of these for bilge pump sensors, but it could also
be used to set off a light or piezo buzzer or alarm. The issue most skippers
had with alarms was that then your opponent knew which ship to focus an attack.
