Hi Men, I'm after a diesel engine sound for my police Shannon boat and a R A F Rescue boat , I don't want to spend alot as long as it sounds authentic or throaty and the noise increases as you accelerate , Cheers Phil

Cheap eh?.
Cut a fag packet up and fit a small section to the prop shaft so that every revolution it strikes a solid object and you will get an increasing sound the faster you go.
Us oldies did something similar to our Bikes to get a Noise.
Electric Cars will need a chuffing big bit of cardboard so that we can hear them coming.
PS, there are lots of Lady Boat Builders also.
