Hi it looks like I might be spending more time in Spain this year. So I may well get withdrawal symptoms from having no contact with model yachts or electric driven boats or indeed having no banter with like minded boaters.
Despite their being no shortage of water in the form of rivers ,lakes or the sea i have never noticed model boating in all the years we have been going there. I need to find a club in Catalonia, between Barcelona and the Pyrenees border with France. Some years ago I found a superb RC flying club when I was in that hobby but sadly not for boats

There's a great looking club in Girona, I think that's the area you're looking at. I've not visited it but I seem to remember one of the members visiting our club a few years ago. The web site looks good.

Hi Charles, thanks for the info
The website does look good although unfortunately it is not in English but I can spend some time and translate the relevant parts. Looks like they meet in parc del Miglia which I will pay a visit to. I have been to Girona many times and it is only 35mins from us. I will try to find out when they meet there.

I can't say I'm surprised it's not in English, Catalan and Spanish clubs usually aren't !
  If you copy and paste the address into Google search engine, you can click the button to translate it into English. In Android that in the three little dots in the top right corner, in Windows that's right click on the main screen.
 I hope that helps a bit.
