Hi i wonder if anyone can help me i have a model boat and have a problem with my transmitter as soon as i turn on the transmitter
the two propellers start up without even touching the throttle and have no control over props

Do you turn the transmitter on first then the receiver?

Steve, first thing to check is the trim on the throttle side. Ideally it should be central. Also, you should switch the transmitter on before the boat.


What type of esc are you using in your model?

Could be that the transmitter has a failsafe mode for gas engines and it's engaged.  I had this happen to me with my Tx whenever i hit the Disarm switch on the side without realizing.

Steve, Just to clarify - what type/make of transmitter are you using and the other electronics in your boat.
