Clamp Identification
« on: October 10, 2023, 10:16:19 am »

Hi everyone

I was given a box containing a lot of stuff ages ago - by a friend who was leaving the hobby.

In amongst the items was this clamp - which I have used every time I have planked a model.

Ive tried looking on line to try and get another or even a few more - but - sadly I cant go back and ask where it came from.   It may be from a kit - I just dont know - he was into making the stagecoach kits & horse and cart kits etc.

Any help - would be so useful - because I would like to try and obtain a few more.

Here goes....

John

Not the same, but any good?

Seem to get closer by googling "hand vice" rather than "clamp".

It's definitely a jeweller's hand vice, meant for holding small objects.

£5 for the clamp and £23 postage ?  Even as a Yorkie that's really excessive.

Try your local Pub for any old optic's, they make nice small clamps. hic  O0 .
