I wish I'd found this boat for my first.  It's simple, easy to put together (follow directions of course), mostly complete and wooden.  No pictures while building, sorry, but a few now that it's finished (well, almost finished, as if any boat is ever finished).  Only one modification, added a Becker rudder.  It doesn't really need one, but they just fascinate the @#$$ out of me :).  Motor is a bit 'much' for the boat but it's what I had.  I did run into problems fibreglassing, nothing unusual about that though.  If you get tired of just 'tooling around', the too big motor will make it plane very nicely.  (Ducks hate it, I love it!)

It's a kit from 'Midwest' in the states.  Comes with a set of full sized plans which are used extensively (if you follow directions).
