That bow section and cutwaters are the most complex part of the build. I remember doing mine and my father reckoned they were too heavy, so after weeks of work, I cut it all off and started again. I have to say, it was well worth the effort though.

More photo's on the build up of the bow the job I done took me well over 2 hours to work out where the parts go so looking at the plan, more cups of tea I worked it out
and placed the two parts, as I have said many times I will not rush doing the ship at all have really enjoyed the build and its always testing me. :-)) :-)) :-))

more on the building of the bow its getting there, looking at my photos I can see alot of re-painting to be done,I may do the whole of the ships side it will take time as all my painting is done by hand never done spray painting on any of my ships always by hand.
My wife has brought me another ship to do its the  APOSTOL SAN FELIPE 1/60 SCALE  had a good look at it when the weather was bad and to cold to go into the garage so I done the cheek of all parts
and number them all but its all put away because I have alot of work to do on the Victory. :-)) :-)) :-))

All coming together nicely. Repainting the hull should sort out the paint bleed between colours. Keep it up..

Update on the VICTORY build its been a few weeks since last post but I have been hard at work on the build.
I have re-painted the stbd side  yellow and black looks alot better, also done bit more on the bow just a few bits to do both sides of the bow.
I have started making the doors and covers to the cannons ports alot of work to make and paint them  loving every minute of it , the phots show  some of the making and cutting of the hatches etc the time just flys past on the build hope you like. :-)) :-)) :-))

Sorry  for the long wait for more posts etc etc around 4 weeks since my last post.

The photo's are what's been done to the stbd side off the bow which is now 95% done all the work on the Victory now is small details which takes a long time you just cannot rush these jobs I must say it has really tested me to the full but at the end of my 2hours  etc a day I down tools look at what I have done,   smile and say I have enjoyed that and I'm happy yes not 100% but I'm getting there and loving every minute of the build .

That's looking good. Not sure I'd have the patience to make all those gun ports.
