The last of the photos of the build for 2025  and 2 years of the build to date really loved every step cuts, super glue,re-doing bits but I have really learnt about build a ship out of wood  without any instructions only full size sheets of the build,,  we keep going until the end. :-)) :-))      HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL   :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Loving this build Wallace!   :-))

Sorry for the landlubber question....
Why do the ( please insert correct naval term for stern ... ) windows look at an acute angle?

Basically the Victory's sterm is made up af a curved structure. Nice square windows won't fit this so they are made to fit and need to be angled. Here are a couple of photos I have of the stern.

Sorry if that sounded like a criticism Wallace, far from it, yours is a truly impressive build!

It's just that I've seen this 'optical illusion' (?!) before on other pictures of HMS Victory ....   :-))

 Thanks for the pics Jim!

It has certainly been an epic build! I'll be interested in the rigging part seeing how you do everything. Lots of knots :)

Good to see you back.
I like that gadget for spacing the deadeyes. When I built my model, I had to do them all on the ship.

Those jigs are a great idea. Shame they broke. Maybe try gluing them back and use a round file to enlarge the holes a bit. That would save you the bother of sendingbthem back.
