Charging a Battery in a sub
« on: May 11, 2024, 02:56:16 pm »

Hi
If I want to charge a battery in a submarine with out taking it out each time, is it a case of just putting some connectors on the outside of the watertight box and having them wired into the battery wires?, and making sure that all esc  receiver are turned off and there would be a small pressure valve which can be opened whilst charging ?

So long as you ventilate the enclosure, no issue, however if you don't ventilate and you overcharge, then the batteries can release hydrogen gas, so be mindful of that.
