Ford class plans
« on: May 16, 2024, 07:38:53 pm »

Does anyone have the John Lambert (or any other) plans for the Ford class seaward defence boats?

The book Model Ships and Boats No3 by Nexus Special Interests has a set of 1:72 scale plans  for a Ford class ship in it. Originally in Model Maker April 1965.A picture of my Ford class model built from the plan some 25 years ago now. Still sailing, although a little tender. Watch the weight if building small.

What a nice model! I do have that plan, but the superstructure does seem to differ from that shewn on Lambert's plan.
