Fatuba T6J Transmitter Help
« on: August 19, 2024, 08:25:23 pm »

Hi there - I would like some help with programming the Fatuba T6J. I think I'm not fully understanding the link between memory locations and model names. It has M-02 and a picture of an aircraft at the top. Below is voltage read out and a number '4' - is this the memory location ?

This set up operates servos in a steam boat via a Fatuba R2006GS receiver and works very well. Now here's the question - I want to link the T6J to a different R2006RG in a different model. How do I do this without screwing up the existing setting for my steamboat. What do I need to change ?

Any help welcomed.

M-02 is the name of the model memory slot.
The 4 is the memory slot number.

To create and save a new model memory slot :-

1) Press and hold MODE until it beeps and the window shows MODL and a flashing memory slot number.
2) Press and hold (DATA+) until it beeps and the window shows the next model name and the next memory slot number flashing.
3) Press SELECT - The first character of the model name will flash.
4) Press (DATA+) or (DATA-) to scroll through to the required alphanumeric character.
5) Press SELECT to chose that character and the next character will flash.
6) Repeat steps 4) and 5) to select until all 4 characters have been selected and the model memory slot number is flashing again.
7) Press and hold END.
 8) The new model memory slot has now been selected and the TX will default to this slot each time until you select otherwise.
You can now change your required parameters as required for this model's memory without affecting any other memory slot.

To swop between model memory slots :-
 1) Press and hold MODE.
2) Press and hold (DATA+) or (DATA-) to scroll through the memory slots to the one you require. Both the model name and a flashing memory slot number will show.
3) Press and hold END.

I always give the model memory slots the name of the boat. It's easier to switch without having to remember the memory slot number (there's 15 of them).
I suggest renaming your M-02 slot to STMR. I keep regularly used memory slots adjacent to reduce the number of times of pressing the DATA keys.
Always make sure you are in the required memory slot before making changes to parameters. I've messed up working parameters of working models before by assuming!

I hope this helps.

I'm not aware of a R2006RG receiver.

Thanks for such a brilliantly clear guide to solving my uncertainty about programming the Fatuba T6J.

Kind regards
