Water slide transfer query
« on: July 22, 2024, 09:29:12 pm »

My older grandson has just bought himself a first plastic model kit which I've been volunteered to assist with (OK it's a plane not a boat, but it's a start).  The kit has some large waterslide transfers which are going to be a challenge.  I'm sure I've seen mention of products to aid applying transfers but I can't remember what they're called, or what they do.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

thanks

Micro-sol and Micro-set is what I use

There are other similar products from the main manufacturers

Hi Ralph, if you ever in Dundee check out Rif-Raf Models in Stobswell. Near the top of Albert Street, across from Balmore Street. They are a plastic model specialist shop and have a good stock of materials.

Thanks Jim, I hadn't heard of them.  I'll take Callum in sometime during the school holidays, probably cost me a small fortune though - always does when I take the kids shopping {:-{ ,
