1/16 scale wingnuts on studding
« on: August 30, 2024, 11:54:25 pm »

I need 12 wingnuts on studding to replicate the tie downs for 6 engine room ventilator hatches. The studding should really end in a T piece fastening to the casing with a staple at each end and then a couple of tabs on each ventilator for the wing nuts to bear on.
Any idea where I can get such things ? I was wondering about maybe Caldercraft/Jotika white metal castings but I’m not sure the likes of such fittings on Cumbrae would be big enough?

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated,
Thanks

You could try here https://model-motorcars.myshopify.com/collections/small-parts-hardware
They have various sizes about half way down the page.
