Having seen my plyte that some of my radio gear was not working, and didn't have a clue why Bill, aka Nemesis got in touch with me asking if I would like to have a couple of Futaba 40mhz receivers for my Futaba 40mhz transmitter that was HOPEFULLY working.
I jumped at the offer, but Bill refused to take anything for them, and I am eternally grateful to him for his gifts and generous help.
This means that I can now use these to try the two other tx futaba's to make sure that they also work as I now have a stable platform.
This is because last friday I also found an identical tx to one I have which I couldn't get to work the other day.
I have tested Bills rx's with the brand new tx system that I bought and which arrived this morning and they work perfectly on that set...........
As such if the servos and rx don't work on my old sets, then I will know 100% that the faults lie in the old transmitters, and they can be dumped.
So, again many thanks Bill [nemesis'] for your very kind help, and appreciate it greatly.
