I've just joined the ' forum in the hopes of identifying various model boat kits that have appeared in "Thomas & Friends" between 2002 to 2008".
I have successfully identified many boat kits which where used in the series. However, there are several boats I am unable to ID. This either suggests that these specific model kits are currently discontinued or these boats/ships were freelance designs created by the model makers at Shepperton Studios. I can provide some images for reference.
I also need to contact one of your forum users to provide more information about the "HFM Marine Thames sailing barge", who stated that it was based on the real sailing barge called "Venta". I am also aware that the "HFM Marine kit" is discontinued, and there is limited information available on the internet.
