MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.
I, and my daughter and her boyfriend have had a lovely exchange of presents, and my ones, especially two of them brought me to tears.......
I was given a much needed pair of slippers, a lovely new shirt that is so comfy and warm that i could fall to sleep in even now before oir dinner has been started, and the two that brought me to tears came last.
The first was a visit this Friday to a Cumbrian outdoor animal sanctuary where i can feed and hug one of my two favourite animals. I can feed and then hug a Sloth.....I am so excited.
And then to top this I was given a picture frame and told to open carefully..........
I broke in to tears. I might not live on for the next 50 years, but my name will do, as my two daughters, Mollie and Rachel have payed to have my name put on to the top of the Exmouth Shannon Class lifeboat!......so JOHN ROBERT NEIL HOWARD - PRITCHARD will appear on the cabin roof with others somewher. That is a journey I will have to make in the coming year to see.
THANK YOU kids for the best presents next to your two's births that I could ever have had.
