I'm looking for a J Class kit to build. Any suggestions? I would like to sail it as a recreational pond yacht. Nothing too detailed is necessary; function over form. However, I would prefer plank-on-frame construction. The Amati 1:35 Endeavour looks like a possible candidate, only I'm not sure it can be marinised and converted to radio control. Anybody build and sail one? Any advice or suggestions would be very welcome.
