hi Davie, long time no chat...........did they ever get the Largs boating lake at the end of Aubrey Cresdent fixed, as that lovely lake was leaking for years too.
Going up there with the girls this summer sometime, might take a boat if so.

Hello Neil , I had a problem getting Norton to allow me to post on here for ages , kept blocking the comment page....As for Largs I'm not sure if that got fixed but the Tarlair pool has had a lot of work done to it to allow swimming again so that at least will keep the lads up MacDuff way going for somewhere to sail

It was full and being used in October last year but did hear it had been drained again.

they have had a lot of problems with it  Bob, for the past 7 or more years with huge cracks in the sub structure of ther ground so near the Beck and the constant water flowing past it, and as the sub structure becomes unstable so members of the club told me when i was up there last in 2018.

Sadly because of the wear and tare caused by the beck and its flowing water so close to the pond, the base keeps cracking and leaking..
And it is such a lovely pond with such a friendly group of members.
