From Facebook .... Some years ago I travelled to the Brighton area to visit and collect a pre-war blue/gold Meccano set that I had bought. I was made very welcome and after a cup of tea, duly collected the set(s) and made my way home.
Later, whilst sorting through the main box, I came across this little Bugatti? style radiator build.
I think it is such an excellent little construction and so well done, I couldn't bear to take it apart for the parts. The strange thing is, I was in the workshop just contemplating the building of Chitty Bang Bang's radiator as next to do, when I suddenly remembered this. I obviously couldn't and wouldn't use it for Chitty as far too small and wrong shape, but I still think it's a lovely little item!
