                            SOUTHPORT MODEL BOAT CLUB OPEN/BRING AND BUY DAY SUNDAY 24TH OF AUGUST


      Greetings Everyone,
                    On Sunday the 24th of August 9am/1pm (gates open around 8am for set up) we are holding our final Open/Bring and Buy Day of the season. Our last Open day had a brilliant attendance with everyone really enjoying the food, our hospitality and the banter. Our Masterchef Paul will once again serving up his renowned Bacon butties up to 11am and then Burgers and Hot dogs from that time, as usual hot and cold drinks will be available all day. Tables for the Bring and Buy are £5 per table for visitors, free for members. Feel free to come along and enjoy our facilities and hospitality, I'm sure that you will enjoy the day and you never know you might find a bargain.

  Greetings Everyone,
         Just one week to go before the last Open/Bring and Buy Day of our season, Geoff has been working hard getting the pond spick and span making sure the water level is good, the result is excellent. We have finished the complete refit of our Tow Cargo boat (re named after the passing of one of our long time members Alan McGlashon) A.McGlashon and the boat will be on display. The catering supplies will be stocked up this week ready for Sunday, hopefully we will have good weather.
          Usual facilities will be available with Paul's excellent Bacon butties and Burgers/Hotdogs. Please feel free to come along and enjoy our hospitality, you may well find a real bargain.

          SOUTHPORT MBC OPEN/BRING AND BUY DAY
                       
                                Greetings Everyone,
                                        Just a quick update on the day, Geoff has been very busy working on the grounds and making sure the pond level is good for sailing, food supplies all sorted so we're ready to go for our final Open day of the season. We are going ahead regardless of the weather as we can't postpone the event for a week as it's the Air show next weekend. I have heard on the grape vine that there will be some tasty morcel's up for grabs so please feel free to come along and enjoy our hospitality and the brilliant models that will be there.
