Would suggest you exercise caution when using such switches . I note these are rated at 3A for 240VAC , but since they will be used with DC , their current rating should be reduced by at least 50% due to potential arcing problems.  It will therefore be advisable to check that the current they will be switching  will be below this threshold .

Sorry , forgot to mention , I believe Model Boat Bits does a 12 volt waterproof switch .
