Those fake windows look the part, Kiyo. From a distance they will look like real glazing.
Over here temperatures have dropped considerably as well, so that I have mounted winter tyres for our drive to the airport on Sunday…..

It is already 18 degrees C today and I'm afraid that it is getting so cold rapidly outdoors here in Tokyo which is rather inconvenient for painting by spraying... I just colored the hull bottom by matt black.
I'm firmly convinced that coloring large parts by spray cans outdoors had better be done early November at the latest here in Tokyo dependent upon the outdoor temperature. O0

The last pic shows a typical view of Mt.Fuji  normally seen from a Shin-kansen bullet train in cold season unless cloudy. :-)) :-))

Pics for today are of simulated window wipers. Original ones were moulded-in the windows roughly and I was so much unsatisfactory with impression. Therefore, I made new wipers roughly which looked much better than original ones
at least new ones are 3D construction basis.. {-) {-) {-)
I wonder if you can confirm the wipers..?     The wipers are matt in the gloss windows... {:-{ %)

I'm getting into next stage of installing drive trains and radio gears in the hull. Beforehand I set a one-handed handle which is a slidable bar between the two rails in the hull as in the pics below for the sake of a good handling in maintenance.
It's so convenient if I can hold the hull with one-hand. Slidable construction comes from supposed change of C of G by possible relocation of RC gears for improvement through the trial tests on the water. O0

Take this water-jet MTB for instance,I was obliged to repeat the trial and error for 8 times in a month on this lake to reach a successful and satisfactory sailing performance... :(( :(( :o :D :D %% %%
You may imagine the speed by an extremely keen sword like wake under the trial run.

The wipers look good, a lot better than the moulded in ones before. I like the idea with the handle, had never thought of such a construction before :-))

Thank you for your comment, Arno. :-))
There is a so large an opening in this hull so that I just have come to make use of the space for easy handling by one hand while the other can be made available for another job in the workshop or outdoors like boating site.

Yes, indeed, Derek.!!!! Your country itself has developed and built the class boats. O0 {-) {-) %% %%
It's so surprising to know that you haven't known this fact up to TODAY.!!! {-) {-) {-)  Australian Austal is the company of this
excellent boats for the South Pacific islands' countries, isn't it ? :-))
But my Super Guardian class patrol boat will be for Japan Navy specifications I myself "designed" by modifying partly the original profiles by the Austal company.  "Super" has  been named after so powerful armament and speed.
Original max speed of the Austal Guardian has been released as to be 25 knots/h while mine will be well over 40 knots/h by the  scale speed. {-) {-) {-) {-) {-)   Because Mine is for navy while actual ones for the South Pacific countries are for law-enforcement by their police. O0 :embarrassed: %)

I checked finally if all the alignment is Ok for fixing deliberately.
And everything seemed OK and I glued permanently with 30minute two-part epoxy precedented by CA. :-)) :-))
One of the most important works in RC fast scale model boats for me is now over. :-)) :-)) :-)) :D :D %)

And I fixed the stern-tubes inside the hull by 30-minute epoxy permanently followed by gluing the supports of the tubes for additional strength. O0

And I checked an easy accessibility for easy maintenance around both motors in case of emergency or normal operations.
It seemed Ok to install the motors permanently in place.
I finally selected Mabuchi motors instead of Chinese-made ones due to the viewpoint of stable revolutions.
The mabuchi motors did a very good job which were so silent, stable and smooth to rotate in each RPM in spite of cheap price. :-)) :-)) :-))   :D {-) %%     USD 7 each for this quality. ok2 %) nearly the same as Chinese-ones I tested. {:-{ {:-{ {:-{
Well, it appears to me that I have passed one of nervous processes to install the drive system finally with success.
With this job, launching process can be seen within a week or so. I wonder this boat could sit properly on the water in the dry dock pool.....???? {:-{ {:-{ {:-{ %%

I filled the stern-tubes with grease by which all the works connected with the drive trains have come to the end at last.
In the next place, building processes go to the rudders, water cooling pipes installation and radio setting before long-awaited launching about which I am anxious a bit. O0 %) {:-{

Rudders linkages are set properly this day permanently together with the radio gears. :-))
They worked well enough.
The launching day seems coming along near with this process. %) Slowly and calmly, but securely I may be perhaps approaching the launching day which is one of the very important milestones leading to a final and successful sailing of the RC scale boat... :D O0
