That looks excellent, but of course you now have to add all the hydraulic hoses to make sure it looks as good ALL over.  :-) :-))

A pressure, return and drain hose for each actuator. Trust me, I spent YEARS doing that stuff, and have the scars to prove it too.  :-)

Hi both gents, KitS and Umi_Ryuzuki,
Thank you for your comments and opinions with useful pics of realistic crane with hydraulic hoses!!! :-)) :o :embarrassed:
I will attach some hoses later referring to some pics of similar derrick after a satisfactory sailing result be obtained in our boating
site to which I do give precedence over the detailing works. :embarrassed: :embarrassed:   A good RC sailing performance comes first over a good detailing works for me as I have a good and large sailing lake. {-) :embarrassed:
Thanks again, gents.!!

Oh yes, MUCH better to get the sailing performance right first. The hoses wouldn't look too good at the bottom of the lake!  :((

Midship is done as per the instruction manuals.
After the launching, the building has been breezy like a pla-model assembly. :-)) :-)) :embarrassed:

And the stern built in a breeze as per the instruction manuals after passing through the launching. :-)) :-)) :-))
I didn't know at all that a 3D model boat was such an easy model to build as this so far... :embarrassed: :D {-)
I suppose tica also may perhaps have been enjoying to build sufficiently his 3D model now at his nice work shop... %) :embarrassed: O0

May sound a very simple point, and relative due to the CNC machining used in producing components, but the detail in sharpness and obviously scale of all of the ventilation panels horizontal louver slats/slots is lifelike  :-))

I also understand, anything more than a wisp of spray point  >>:-( could clog up this crispness in detail

Derek,
Thank you for always honest and constructive comment. !! O0
Yes, what you have mentioned may be true and even I am not necessarily satisfied with the craftsmanship this time as well. {-)
This may come from partly poor 3D printing technics and my building skill. {-) {:-{
But I made much efforts to cure many imperfections which have not been reported here. In spite of such a kit, I found its value
in the size, massive hull suitable for a lake -going fast scale boat in addition to the awesome PRICE.!! :embarrassed:
Crispness and detailed construction sometimes have generated some kind of disturbance for handling and operating at the boating site in my case.
Take this HMCS Snowberry for instance, it has made me nervous every time I take out for playing from home to home.
But it may be worth watching SOMETIMES at home.... {-) {:-{ O0
In this sense, this Snowberry actually became a RC working boat for display unlike other RC boats for RC practical sailing. {-) {-)

From above points, I generally prefer to stout, less-carefree and simple hull with a few delicate parts, which purpose is mainly for RC lake-going, not for on-shelf going. :-)) {-) O0

And crane was installed as to be able to rotate different from the kit instructions.

All is up except railings around the hull at last. :embarrassed: :-))
December is coming so close to the first trial run on cold and choppy lake in this season especially...
Only basic colors having been done, the boat looks monotonous currently. Detailing works will follow if necessary after the successful sailing which is the most important in my RC boating. O0 :-))  It takes too much time for detailing works which could be done anytime sufficiently if the successful sailing has been done for me. :-)) :-))   Minimum decoration is Ok currently for me before the trial run of this RC boat. A little progress of the handrailing around the upper deck.
A model boat is generally enhanced its scale realism by adding this kind of rails, isn't it.?! O0
After launching, this 3D RC boat is going on so smooth and easy to assemble the ready-made parts which I suppose may not be interesting for the skilled modellers. {-) {-) {-)  But good for a lazy old boy who likes RC sailing even in the winter like me.!!!! {-) {-) {-)

Rear deck was also installed with the handrails as per the instruction manuals.
Everything is going on smooth and easy to do after launching which is also going onto the trial run on the boating lake.
But the lake itself is the very problem for me for this season.... <:( 8) :(( {-) {-) O0  Oh, yes!! winter season !! <:( <:(
My RC boat has to be stout and intensive waterproof, but normally I never sail in this photo level of wavy condition with some exceptions , needless to say. %% %%

Nicely done, Kiyo, this one will be a good compromise between detailing and easy RC use. I know what you meant in your thread before, my Shannon boat being so detailed that you think better using it only as a display model :o {-)
Our club pond is a lot smaller than your lake, but it is situated in a valley so we do not get such choppy water…..

Arno,
Thank you for a comment.!! :-)) :-))   Yes, I can't help compromising when building a RC scale boat, since this is a RC BOAT in the beginning before a scale boat in my understanding.. O0 {:-{ {-)
Precisely detailed RC model mainly for display or practically good sailing performance as a RC scale boat on the water (sometimes choppy..)...or both to take in a model boat...
It will be entirely dependent upon individual ideas, concepts, circumstances of boating, intensions and purposes to build the model. I am given a large lake for boating that I have selected a sailing performance rather than precisely detailed model, therefore my boat has to be simple, stout, easy to handle from and back home. Moreover it is next to impossible for me to see such good details of the boat during its run, nor to have such an easy time when operating the fast boat.!!! {-) {-)
The pic is my 45 years old flag ship and still in service and seaworthy. :-)) :-)) O0

That is a really impressive photo! As I get older, my future projects will be smaller in size and weight as well, makes it easier to transport and handle. The SS Falcon is a step into that direction already O0
