Mtronics Speed Controllers
« on: October 07, 2025, 10:24:42 am »

Hi Good People

Just wonders if anyone is having problems with any of the Mtronic's Speed controllers of late - I am talking about the quality of the product. They used to be my goto product of choice but now I find that they are not what they used to be :-( I offten find the Plug and play models loose signal regularly and causes all kinds of havoc with the transmitter - the failure rate is much higher than it used to be and they dont handle current spike as well as they used to).
If it just me that tend to abuse them or has anyone else had problems.

Cheers

Pat

Hi,

I’ve used them on all my models and my most recent purchase in the last few months was a 15AMP ESC I’ve been using in my Visby corvette it has not given any hint of trouble.

On the one occasion I had a fault with a 30amp ESC which after talking them through what was happening they replaced it FOC

I got a new viper 15 amp a couple of months ago, it works flawlessly.
I'm intrigued by your saying it's wreaking havoc with your transmitter, i can't see how that can happen, maybe there's something else going on.
