1/72 twin 30mm
« on: April 19, 2026, 09:28:37 am »

Since demise of shipway I am struggling to find anyone who makes the RN twin 30 mm mount, retrofitted to many ships after the Falklands. Need it add to HMS Bristol, along with single bmarc 20mm

I looked on Distefan's 3D fitting site and did not see that weapon, but if you contact him, he may well add it to his site.

Hi Rob,

Do you have a detailed drawing for this mount?

Well if those are drawn at the correct scale, then draw a graphic scale on the paper that
show 0 to 40 mm with 1mm increments to five millmeter, then every five millimeters alternating
black or white, top or bottom of a center line. Then scan that so someone can print it out and
still be able to adjust the scale according to the scale drawn on the page.  :-))
.
And here I played around in Google AI to try and get a reasonable drawing of then Orelikon 30mm GCM-A03-2.
The AI did okay, but the front and rear views were missing the magazines on the gunner side, so I photoshopped it in.  %)
You'll just have to ignore the enclosed gunner position.  ;)
