Those table clamps holding the perspex viewing shields are I am sure a 'godsend' in keeping prying fingers out  <*<

I too, didn't realize the difference in sizing between the Type 23 and 26....

finger error in duplication...sorry :embarrassed: .........

Are both the T23 & T26 shown here both the same scale?......I used the 5" gunmounts [even different variants] as approximately equal

Hi Derek,

Both are at 1/96 scale. The T23 gun is 4.5 inch and the T 26 is 5 inch.

Yep the Perspex is there just for that  <*<  as are notice say hours to build seconds to brake.

Do you have a source for those plexiglass shield holders?  I am somewhat tempted to invest....

🤗🤗🤞🤞 this is great news and I will not have to rename my build.

The RN has appointed a ship's sponsor (the Countess of Antrim) to Type 26 frigate (ship 3), HMS Belfast, which suggests the vessel had not been earmarked to be handed to 🇳🇴 Norway as their first ship.
Possibly ship 4, HMS Birmingham will become the first Norwegian Type 26? which they (optimistically) want to be in service by 2029.

Found these on line and purchased a couple. They run very quietly, available in different RPM so plan will be to modify the current drive on the mission bay crane.
